Maurice Smith Teams Up with Travis Malloy for "Mighty to Me"

Rising Gospel music artist Maurice Smith releases his second single "Mighty to Me." This song is the follow-up to Smith'd debut offering "I Still Believe," a prophetic proclamation that no matter what comes our way, although we may not understand the obstacles that come our way, God is in control and we must still believe what he promised.
This new song "Mighty to Me" was written and produced by award winning singer/songwriter Travis Malloy (Alexis Speight, VaShawn Mitchell, Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clark-Cole) and is more of a personal testimony that was birthed at a time where Maurice was not only dealing with effects of the pandemic, but also a minor surgery that took a drastic turn and nearly took his life.
"Last year God gave me the song I Still Believe and we were able to do a music video and the whole nine (CHECK OUT VIDEO HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOjKBksfSSY ). So many great things were happening and then I had to undergo a very minor but necessary surgery that went awry and I ended up almost dying on the operating table. It was in that moment when God proved himself to be Mighty To Me. The following morning, my doctor explained the gory details of my surgery and told me how they almost lost me, but I turned to him and said, I was never theirs to lose," says Smith.
Mighty To Me is a relatable call and response worship song that will most certainly penetrate the hearts of millions with its rich melody and Maurice's smooth tenor.
