Supernatural Spoilers for Season 10 as Dean Talks About his New Life as a Demon
Supernatural season 10 is highly anticipated as it will feature a new twist revealed at the end of season 9 where actor Jensen Ackles playing Dean Winchester became a demon. He stated that yes; this new season will feature the complete loss of humanity to the dismay of fans everywhere because Dean has always been a rock in the show fighting the forces of evil. It is strange to now see him portraying the thing that he was trained to fight since he was a child. As such, there are various question marks over the various reactions of the rest of the roles. Does this mean that Sam will begin hunting solo as Castiel's grace is also failing. That means that he does not have the juice to take on Metatron any time soon.
Jensen teased that the fans will still get to see the Dean that they love since the first season. No matter the plot and the twist, Kripke decides on one can always count on having things return to the normal even if it takes a long time do so. That means Sam and Dean hunting down things as a team. We saw the same through Dean's stint in hell or Sam's, or the possession of Sam by Gadriel, the angel.
Even Dean himself stated that the new role as a demon will be quite challenging to him as an actor . The role may be internalized however bringing that to the outside so that it is readily believable by the audience is another thing altogether. Even though the script has not reached any of the cast members as yet, Jensen believes that the writers will not let Dean fade away from the screen. All we know about the new season is that he will be taken in by Crowley in all likelihood during for mentoring on the ways of the demon. Castiel on the other hand is also having problems of his own while Sam may take a back seat and be a voice of reason for this installment which always impacts him negatively in the end.
