Here Are the Lyrics and Audio of Dave Barnes' New Single "Only Good Will Come Out of This"

GRAMMY® and CMA award-nominated Dave Barnes has released his brand new single. "Only Good Will Come Out of This" is an encouraging song that speaks of how there is always hope even in the most trying times.
Barnes writes: "I love encouraging songs, especially honest ones. I wanted to write a song about how what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger - I can't think of many seasons of life that are more timely for that thought than now. I also love the sort of current-bluegrass vibe of it - i've never really put out a song like this before!"

Lyrics:
We've been holding something much too heavy for our hearts, ooh
Breaking, and each mistake feels like it's tearing us apart, ooh
Don't take much
Til we're hurting
Given time, we're gonna see
That we ain't giving up
We ain't giving in
When life lands a punch
We get up again
The tears we cry
They're all silver lined
It's hard to find the hope
In the hurt sometimes
But only good will come of this
Ooh, only good will come of this
We've been too slow to take the time to turn around, ooh
And take in, the walls and all the mountains we've knocked down, ooh
Don't take much
To remember
Given time, we're gonna see
That we ain't giving up
We ain't giving in
When life lands a punch
We get up again
The tears we cry
They're all silver lined
It's hard to find the hope
In the hurt sometimes
But only good will come of this
Ooh, only good will come of this
It's hard to see the hope between the pain
But the sun is always brightest after rain
We ain't giving up
We ain't giving in
When life lands a punch
We get up again
The tears we cry
They're all silver lined
It's hard to find the hope
In the hurt sometimes
But only good will come of this
Ooh, only good will come of this
Ooh, only good will come of this
