Riley Clemmons Reminds Us of God's Sovereignty with a Stunning Piano Version of "Godsend"

Multi-talented Nashville-based recording artist Riley Clemmons releases a stunning piano version of her song "Godsend." The song speaks about how nothing in life happens by chance. Rather, they are there to draw us closer to God.
"Last April, when the world was shutting down around all of us, I sat on the floor of my bedroom with an old keyboard, on a FaceTime call with @emilyweisband & Colby Wedgeworth and we wrote "Godsend," Clemmons reveals. "I recorded the demo vocal with voice memos on my phone. The song came together quickly & naturally, and I knew right away that it had to be the title track of the record. `What if maybe every broken place I've been was a Godsend' was the simple, yet beautiful string that tied together every single song on the album. Thank you for the love that you've shown this song. It's truly so surreal to watch these lyrics find their places in your stories."
"I am truly so excited to finally share Godsend with you, it is absolutely surreal that the day has finally come!" Clemmons continues. "My goal has always been to create something authentic and honest, drawing inspiration from the deepest corners of my experiences. I sincerely hope that listeners are able to find themselves and their stories within these songs and connect with the music in a way that makes them feel seen."
Oh, every closed door, every single sharp thorn
Every answer that didn't make sense
What if maybe
They were just teaching me to depend on
Your strength in the dark days
All my tears got me crying out to You again
What if maybe
Every broken place I've been was a godsend?
