Leanna Crawford Teams Up with Jekalyn Carr for a Re-Imagined Version of "Mean Girls"

Leanna Crawford has teamed up with Jekalyn Carr for a brand new version of Crawford's hit "Mean Girls" with an accompanying lyric video. The song speaks about the power of words; and how words misused can be hurtful. The song, written by Crawford, Andrew Pruis, and Matthew West, was first featured on Crawford's self-titled six-song EP debut
"Mean Girls feat. the AMAZING @jekalyncarr is out now for all to hear!!" Crawford announced. "I was thrilled when Jekalyn said she would sing on this song and I love how it turned out. THANK YOU SO MUCH BEAUTIFUL. Hope y'all love it so much!!"
Sharing the message of the song, Crawford explains, "The words we use are powerful. Some words can build people up while other hurtful words can tear down. Sadly, we've all experienced the latter and it's those words that we just can't seem to get out of heads no matter how old we are. I wrote this song as a prayer for myself but also for you because sometimes we need to be reminded that our worth is so much more than words."
