Chris Tomlin & Brandon Lake Help Us to See God in Difficult Circumstances with New Single
Veteran worship leader and songwriter Chris Tomlin has teamed up with Bethel Music's Brandon Lake for the brand new single "I See You." Written by Tomlin, Bryan Fowler and Jonas Myrin, "I See You" speaks about seeing God in the midst of our difficult circumstances.
I see You in the morning light
I feel You in the fire by night
I hear You say, "Child, I am with you.
Everything will be alright."
I see You in the tears that run
I feel You when the healing comes
I hear You say, "Beloved one, I am with you."
Every moment of my life
I see You
I see You
I see You
God, I see You
"My brand new song, "I See You" with Brandon Lake, is available now," Chris Tomlin announced. "And I am so excited for you to hear it! The message of this song is all about seeing God throughout the different seasons in life, the ups and the downs. I am so grateful to my friend Brandon for being a part and all the incredibly talented people who made this song come to life!"
It is estimated that 20-30 million people across the world sing one of Chris' songs every week in church services in nearly every language. Time magazine heralded him as the "most often sung artist in the world" as his music has inspired and uplifted an entire generation of believers. Along the way, he's scored 16 Number one singles at radio, sold more than nine million albums, earned a Grammy, three Billboard Music Awards, 21 Dove Awards and became a two-time BMI Songwriter of the Year honoree.
In 2016, he was named one of only four artists ever to receive the Sound Exchange Digital Radio Award for over 1 Billion digital radio streams, alongside Justin Timberlake, Pitbull and Garth Brooks. Chris is also the first Christian artist to reach the Billion streams threshold on Pandora and was presented with their BILLIONAIRE award. His tours have sold-out venues everywhere, including New York City's Madison Square Garden, Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Nashville's Bridgestone Arena and Red Rocks.
