Bethel Music Proclaims the Power of the Gospel with the New Anthem "I Believe"
GRAMMY nominated, and internationally renowned artist collective Bethel Music releases their brand new single "I Believe" today. The song is a powerful affirmation of the Gospel performed with verve and conviction by Jonathan David and Melissa Helser. This is the second release from their long-anticipated 12th compilation album, Homecoming, which will be released on September 24th. You can pre-save Homecoming HERE.
I believe in the blood of Jesus that washes white as snow
I believe in the power of the Gospel, still makes the broken whole
I believe that the curse of sin was broken when they rolled away that stone
I believe, I believe, I believe
"I feel like from the ground up, this project feels to me like we did our very best - no matter what happens with it, we did exactly what we were supposed to do every step of the way and that is so fulfilling," shares Brian Johnson, President of Bethel Music. "Everything from building relational equity within our team and artists to the organizing of the co-writes and working in pre-production so the songs would come across as strong as possible.
Even the features and duets - we painstakingly reflected on who the best pairings would be to carry the songs the way they needed to be carried. The mix and master process was also a long and arduous journey but when it was finished, we knew that what we created was reflective of all the hard work we put in. I would go so far as to say this project was the best experience for me of anything we've ever done because it felt like the team felt such unity from start to finish. I am so proud of the entire Bethel Music team and the album we created."
Last month, it was announced that Bethel Music had earned 16 GMA DOVE Award nominations, breaking their previous record of most nominations in a single year. The nominations span 12 categories, including the coveted New Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. The 52nd GMA DOVE Awards will take place on October 19, 2021 and will air October 22nd on TBN.
