Sandra McCracken Teams Up with Dave Barnes for "The Christmas Song"

Singer, songwriter, and author Sandra McCracken has teamed up with Dave Barnes to record a brand new version of the Christmas classic "The Christmas Song." The cover of the single, which is an illustration of ice skating in Central Park from the 1800's, was designed by Brannon McCallister.
McCracken announces, "This year, I've been counting down to release a brand new version of my favorite classic Christmas song, a duet with Dave Barnes. Dave and I have been friends since college, and we had a blast recording this at Jon Class' studio with two legendary musicians, Jeff Taylor (piano and accordion) and Byron House (upright bass)."
She also reveals what the season means to her. "The Christmas season always makes me think back to our family room when I was a kid, sitting beside my brother on two corduroy arm chairs that were hand-me-downs from Aunt Doris. Beside the 60's brick framed fireplace all glowing with lights on the mantle, we practiced the Christmas countdown."
McCracken is also launching her CHRISTMAS TOUR. Dates and details listed below. Grab your TICKETS today and help us spread the word to your friends and family. If you can't make one of these dates, they will be hosting a LIVESTREAM of the Nashville show on Dec 15th at 8:00PM CT.
