Jonas Myrin Contributes Song to the Christmas Movie "The Three Wise Men" & Offers Songwriting Course
Singer and songwriter Jonas Myrin has contributed a song for the beautiful Christmas new movie The Three Wise Men, by Yarrow & Carrie Cheney (The Grinch, The Secret Life of Pets). The song entitled "Just a Breath Away (Noel) (Radio Version)" was written by Myrin and produced by Elias Kapari & Myrin.
"So honored to get to write and perform the theme and end-title song for the beautiful Christmas movie The Three Wise Men, by Yarrow & Carrie Cheney (The Grinch, The Secret Life of Pets)," Myrin announces. "May this song and film be a reminder, that no matter what we are facing or going through. Hope is always greater - and it is only one breath away.
Meanwhile, Myrin is also offering an oline class on songwriting and creativity. The course, "FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET, PREPARING A PLACE FOR INSPIRATION" is now live on the @Creatr platform.
"My prayer is that this course will inspire you in your everyday life, how to create a place where your soul and creativity will flourish, both internally and in the spaces you create. I'll be teaching on how to prepare for a songwriting session and how to start and unlock a song idea, even when you feel you have 'writers block' or just a dry season.
I'll be sharing practical tools that can be applied, both for the established as well as the new songwriter and creative out there. We filmed this course in my studio and home in Los Angeles, Atlas House. So welcome in, wherever you are... come join the movement; For creators - by creators."
Myrin has won two Grammy Awards for the song "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)", which he wrote for Matt Redman. He also won both Billboard and multiple Dove Awards, as well as many nominations for those awards. He has written songs for artists such as Barbra Streisand, Idina Menzel, Andrea Bocelli, Lauren Daigle, Nicole Scherzinger, and others.
