PagerU's "Otto's Tales: Today is Christmas" is the Perfect Story Book for Kids This Christmas.
PagerU's "Otto's Tales: Today is Christmas" is the perfect gift for your children this Christmas. This beautifully illustrated storybook teaches children the importance of faith, charity and family and that Christmas is a national holiday for all Americans. The book debuted on Amazon as the #1 New Release in Schools and Teaching.
The book is the sixth installment in "Otto's Tales," PragerU's series of illustrated children's books that teaches children ages 3 to 8 traditional American values through the rambunctious adventures of young Dennis Prager and his trusty sidekick, Otto the bulldog. Each storybook is paired with an online storytime video featuring Jill Simonian, Director of Outreach for PragerU Kids, Otto the bulldog or a special celebrity guest.
"There is no reason anyone should feel 'excluded' or 'offended' if a person says 'Merry Christmas' to someone who doesn't celebrate the religious holiday," said Jill Simonian, Director of Outreach for PragerU Kids. "Christmas is a holiday that can unite us as Americans through giving, kindness and celebration, alongside religious freedom and diversity of religious beliefs."
ragerU also released a new storytime video, "Otto's Tales: Today is Christmas," as a companion to the book. The video animates the story, in which Dennis and Otto the bulldog travel back to the Holy Land on the first Christmas night, witness Saint Nicholas helping the poor in the third century and visit President John F. Kennedy and his family at the White House to learn how Christmas unites us as Americans.
"Otto's Tales" are part of PragerU's K-12 educational initiative PragerU Kids. The storybook series offers families creative ways to pass on important values to their young children through American holidays and traditions.
Parents, guardians and educators can check out more free PragerU Kids content, including "Otto's Tales" storytime show, the DIY craft and history series "Craftory", PragerU's first-ever fully-animated kids show "Leo & Layla's History Adventures," the funny and educational "TBH (to be honest) History" series, "How To" videos for middle and high schoolers, digital magazines, parent action guides and other curated resources.
