Hillsong's Brooke Ligertwood Teams Up with Martin Guitars to Design Her Own Signature Guitar

Hillsong's Brooke Ligertwood has teamed up with Martin Guitars to design her own signature edition guitar. Ligertwood specifically designed the guitar so that the generation of songwriters, musicians, and young women who would pick up guitars and make music that makes a difference.
Ligertwood reveals how the partnership came about. "For well over 20 years, I have exclusively played and owned Martin acoustic guitars. As a multi-genre songwriter, recording and touring artist, worship leader and producer, my Martin guitars have been my constant companion in `war and art.'"
"After Martin Guitar approached me in 2019 about creating my own Custom Signature model, we began the incredibly rewarding process of designing together - for YOU - what I believe is the best playing, highest quality sounding acoustic guitar I have played."
"We combined the elements I loved most of the guitars in my personal Martin collection, and the result is better than I could have hoped for. Over the past year, I have been exclusively writing, leading, and recording with this guitar. It has been thoroughly road/studio tested by me and many of the guitarists and engineers I work with, with the consensus being: it's a beauty."

Ligertwood will be releasing her new album SEVEN this coming Friday (Feb 25). Recorded live in Nashville, TN, SEVEN consists of entirely brand-new worship songs written by Ligertwood and husband/longtime collaborator Scott, Jason Ingram (who co-produced the album with her), Pastor Steven Furtick, Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham and friends.
It features a band composed of gifted musicians from the breadth of the modern worship movement (Hillsong, Bethel, Vineyard, Elevation), a 30-piece choir, and a collection of stunning new prayer-soaked songs written and arranged in line with Ligertwood's singular vision with Jesus at the center.
