Hezekiah Walker Brings Healing After Buffalo, New York Shooting

In the aftermath of the tragic shooting in Buffalo, New York, Hezekiah Walker received a call from city officials to help their community heal. On May 14, a mass shooting occurred in Buffalo, New York, at a Tops Friendly Markets store, a supermarket in the Kingsley neighborhood on the eastern side of the city. 10 people were killed, and 3 others were injured; 11 of the victims were black.
This Sunday, Walker will present Hezekiah Walker & Friends, a concert featuring Israel Houghton, Charles Jenkins, Lena Byrd Miles and Bebe Winans.
"Gospel music helps people to remember that God is with us, even in the midst of tragedy, and there is no pain that is beyond His grasp," says Walker. "I am definitely praying for the Buffalo community and consider it a humbling honor to be able to be with them this Sunday and share the gift of hope through song."
The event takes place at 7 p.m. EST at Greater Refuge Temple of Christ in Buffalo, and will also be streamed live on YouTube.
