"Supernatural" Season 10 Premieres October 7 and Executive Producer Jeremy Carver Reveals Spoilers About First Episode and the Mysterious Character Tracking Dean
"Supernatural" returns to the CW on October 7, and fans cannot wait to see what season 10 holds in store. The show's executive producer has revealed a few tempting teasers about the upcoming season, including the appearance of a new character. EP Jeremy Carver revealed that the first episode of the season will focus on Sam Winchester as he tracks down his brother Dean, who was killed in the season 9 finale by Metatron but managed to survive by evolving into what he fears and hates most: a demon.
This is where the mysterious new character comes in. Carver revealed that there will be someone else looking for Dean, too. "Well, I can tell you that he's kind of cool and his name is Cole," teased the executive producer. "He is someone from Dean's past who is looking for Dean for reasons totally unrelated to what's going on with the demon/Mark of Cain story. He's a guy that has a terrific amount of hunting skills, but he's not a hunter in our sense of the word. He has no idea that the monster world exists, so imagine his surprise when he comes across the man he's been hunting and he is something other than human. He's a pretty cool character."
However, we do not know if this Cole character means Dean harm or not. The actor playing this role has not been revealed yet either, although Carver did comment that he had been cast.
Episode 1 of season 10 of "Supernatural" premieres on Tuesday, October 7, at 9 pm EDT.
