Joseph Habedank's Grandmother Passes Away
GRAMMY®-nominated and multiple Dove Award-winning recording artist Joseph Habedank announce over social media that his grandmother Patricia Habedank has passed away yesterday afternoon.
Joseph reveals, "My paternal grandmother, Patricia Habedank, affectionately known as "Grandma", went to live with Jesus earlier this afternoon.
"We plan to celebrate her life, as a family, sometime next month, but in the meantime, as cliché as it sounds, I know she would want me to sing. So that's what I'll do. She was such a big supporter of our ministry and loved that I sang about Jesus.
"If you would, please pray for my Dad, my Grandpap, and our family as we navigate through this great loss. We are so grateful for her legacy.
"Her last words to her grandchildren (via video) were: "I love you, I miss you, I'll see you soon. I'll be home there." She's finally at home... there. I love you, Gram."
Joseph Habedank is a two-time GRAMMY® nominated, Dove Award winning Southern Gospel Artist of the Year (2020) and has been named Gospel Music's Favorite Soloist for four consecutive years (2017-2020). His 2019 release, Deeper Oceans, was nominated for Southern Gospel Album of the Year at the 50th Annual GMA Dove Awards and earned him a second GRAMMY® nomination for Roots Gospel Album of the year, it also includes two number one songs, "Shame On Me" and "Goliath".
His songs have been recorded by artists such as: Reba McEntire, Restless Heart, Dailey and Vincent, The Booth Brothers, Triumphant, Karen Peck & New River, The Hoppers, and many more.
