Acclaimed Songwriter Tommy Iceland Releases His Own Single "Idols"

Acclaimed songwriter Tommy Iceland, who has written songs for We Are Messengers, Stars Go Dim, David Leonard and Jesus Culture, releases his brand new single "Idols." Written by Isabelle Cordero, Tiffany Hudson, Jason Ingram & Iceland, the song is a call to worship God rather than the things of this world.
Iceland recalls how the song came about, "I remember how the melodies of this one just started flowing out pretty easily, and I had the best time writing it on a back porch on a sunny and windy day last year with Tiffany, Bella and Jason. I knew we got something special that day, and have been wanting to put this out for so long. July 8 can't come soon enough!"
I've worshipped so many things
That aren't what they claim to be
The views & the likes
The stars & the lights
I've held on too tight, I admit it
What good are they now?
What good are they now?
These idols of silver & gold
They're not gonna, not gonna save us
It's You alone
These treasures are made of stone
They're not gonna, not gonna save us
Our only hope is You
