LEELAND Crafts a New Rock Sound with the Psalm-Like "Still Mighty"
Texas-based band LEELAND is back with their new Intrgrity Music single "Still Mighty." The song is the follow-up to "Heart & Flesh" featuring Hillsong UNITED'S TAYA and it is also the second release from their forthcoming album, which will be released in early 2023.
"Still Mighty" is an atmospheric, Psalm-like, rock-infused track delving into the sure Presence of the Lord in the midst of the suffering that's intrinsic to life. LEELAND introduce a fresh soundscape that takes their signature alternative worship style to new levels of creativity. With a driving bass line, crisp drums, and band leader Leeland Mooring's smooth vocals alongside a vibrant choir, "Still Mighty" is only the beginning of the groundbreaking songs yet to come from LEELAND.
LEELAND is made of lead singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Leeland Mooring alongside guitarist and co-writer Casey Moore. They came to the forefront of the worship music sphere in 2004 and debuted their first project in 2006. Fast forward to now, after seven albums, four GRAMMY® nominations, and eight GMA Dove Award® nominations under their belts, LEELAND announce the release of their upcoming record, coming in early 2023. Their lives, ministry, and music are a true extension of their passion to simply worship God personally and in community.
