The Chrs Nino produced song is inspired by Genesis 6:8 "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD." Download/stream "Grace" HERE.
Suh grew up in Bonaberi, Douala and from his high school years in Lycee de Deido, Samuel and his friends would sometimes have freestyling sessions with the desks and a beatboxer providing the sound. He would display his skills to his friends and classmates with a unique style of delivery and excellent prowess in rhyming and harmonies.
Born in a family of 6 and growing up with 5 sisters, gospel music has always played a major role in his childhood days as he recounts "Mom was a deaconess and she would always play praise and worship songs all day". He grew up listening to other genres of music including Hip Hop, Soul, Reggae, RnB, and more. This has all helped him to develop more versatility in his sound. Being a lover of Hip Hop and the Rastafari movement after moving to Johannesburg. Samuel Suh, priorly known as 1 Zeal, released an 8-track EP titled "The Lion Boy EP Vol 1" in 2014 and 2016 a 5-track EP titled "The Lion Boy EP Vol 2". He has also released visuals for songs like "Welcome to Jozi", "Terre", "Ca Va Aller" and "I Do" which were featured on major platforms.
In 2020, after recording over 17 songs for a new EP he planned to release, Samuel received the inspiration to record his first-ever Gospel Reggae song, titled "Rivers". After recording and listening to this song, he says "I knew exactly this was my calling and the sole purpose of my music".
As a Gospel Reggae artist, he released an EP titled "Victory" in 2020 and an LP titled "Faithful & True" in 2021. He has shot music videos for songs like "Rivers", "One Word", "Strengthener" and "Never Fail".
He is currently working on a 7 track project titled "Undefeated" and will soon be releasing the first single "Grace". The aim of his music is to glorify the Name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings.
