Unspoken's "Start A Fire" Igniting the Billboard Charts
Centricity Music's Christian contemporary pop group, Unspoken, is now enjoying the fruits of their arduous labor with the success of their first single from their self-titled album "Start A Fire." "Start A Fire," has jumped into the Top Five on three of Billboard's Christian Singles charts, with the song at No. 2 for the fifth week at AC Indicator, No. 4 at AC Monitored and No. 5 on the NCA chart. "Start A Fire" has locked up all Hot AC/CHR stations and is No. 6 on the chart.
Comprising of Chad Mattson, Mike Gomez, Jon Lowry and Ariel Munoz, Unspoken has released 3 EPs with Centricity Records. Finally, for fans who have been waiting with bated breath, their full length album came out on April 1, 2014. Now, the album is avilable on vinyl, download and CD. The album continues to be a strong seller nationwide, with the project retaining its position in the Top 30 on Billboard's Christian Albums chart since release date. While preparing for this record, Unspoken has spent time ruminating over the words of Jesus in Matthew 5 and 6. Thus, you will find the rhetoric thrust of Jesus brimming in a song such as "Start a Fire." This song takes with seriousness the exhortation of Jesus that we ought to be the light of the word and setting it to an infectious tune delivered with a seismic sweep of energy.
"It has been such a fun couple of months with Unspoken," says Steve Ford, Vice President of Marketing, Centricity Music. "With the band having a No. 2 song at AC for several weeks, a video that is getting strong reaction, and Unspoken continuing to build a solid fan base out on the road, it brings a lot of energy to the release. Now having the record available everywhere adds a whole new level to the release. This band is making an impact everywhere they go. This is how I describe fun."
