'Fast and Furious 7' Iggy Azalea Gets Cameo Reveals Vin Diesel, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Fast and Furious 7 has announced another cameo for the upcoming movie that just wrapped filming. Musician/rapper, Iggy Azalea will be making an appearance in the film and Vin Diesel broke the news unintentionally when doing an interview for his role in the Marvel film Guardians Of The Galaxy.
When he was asked a question about her music, he went on to say, "Iggy Azalea and I just worked together two weeks ago. I guess you're the first person to know this.. we cast her Fast And Furious 7. She had a cameo in it." You can watch the whole exchange in the video clip above.
Universal originally moved Fast & Furious 7 release date from July 11, 2014 to April 10, 2015, following Paul Walker's death last November, but now they have announced that the movie will release one week earlier on April 3, 2015.
April has historically been a good month for the Fast & Furious movies. While most of the movies have come out in June, the two films in the series that came out in the April currently are two of the top three best box office performers.
The cast is still dealing with mixed emotions about finishing the movie series without co-star Paul Walker. There has also been open mixed emotions over finishing Paul Walker's scenes with visual effects to finish the movie. Diesel and the rest of the cast have been having difficult time handling emotional set and are still feeling pain over Paul loss. The team has been working with doubles and using facial-replacement technology for the remainder of Walker's scenes. Walker's two brothers, Caleb and Cody, have been added to the Fast family as stand-ins for Walker to complete remaining action scenes.
Diesel went to Facebook on June 17 to write this post:
"There wasn't a scene in the saga he didn't want to discuss, improve... even with just a changing of a line or adding a specific nuance to enrich a moment," Diesel wrote. "Those work ethics and drive to be both truthful, and in his own way, evolve the decade spanning character is what made his character as iconic as it has become."
"He always knew I would fight for him... whether it was to protect his deal or to protect his integrity... and he knew that if it made for a better film, I was going to do whatever it took," Diesel said. "With our new ambitious vfx team, the whole cast and crew has had to adjust to this awkward and uncomfortable process of pixels over people. Aside from the obvious strains it places on the director, the challenge is not to allow it to compromise what makes the character so special."
Walker died on Nov. 30 in Santa Clarita, Southern California in a tragic car accident while the cast and crew were on a hiatus period. His shocking death has sent shockwaves through Hollywood. He was 40 years old.
