Marcus Jordan Celebrates the Success of "Dance"

Gospel's Favorite Son Marcus Jordan went to social media over the weekend to say thanks to his fans for their support of his music ministry. "Dance," his latest single soared to number 29 on the Gospel airplay chart and continues its climb.
The native Houston singer, songwriter, musician and producer has delivered a string of radio hits including "Call On the Name," "Finally (The Wedding Song)" and "I Will Bless Your Name," and is now getting in gear for the release of new music with a powerful message, Be Ok.
"I wanted to create a song to encourage people going through tough times, especially those dealing with grief", Jordan states. "We have experienced some truly unusual situations, the pandemic changed the way we live and view life and death, We've all experienced loss, and oftentimes we don't know how to deal with the wave of emotions we are left with. "Be OK" is a reminder that God's love and grace are ever-present, even in our darkest times. No matter what we face, we can find peace and solace in Him."
The underlying message is significant for Marcus, and he knew as he was writing the song that he wanted full creative control. The overall feel of the song is just as important as the lyrics. He wrote, produced, and played the piano for "Be OK".
"Ultimately, I want people to feel comfortable acknowledging their feelings around grief, and to know that even if it isn't ok right now, eventually everything will be ok." Jordan will lead discussions via his Facebook page addressing grief and loss and offer resources and community outreach.
Be Ok hits digital outlets and streaming platforms in September. Marcus heads to New Orleans for the National Association of Gospel Radio gathering and will guest on the Montrae Tisdale and Friends Chorale Single Release Concert in Houston welcoming the month of September.
