Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Release Date: Popularity and Energy of the First Movie Prompt Plans for the Second installment!

It seems that even before the first installment of Guardians of the Galaxy hits the screen, which is today by the way; Marvel Studios already started arrangements for the sequel of the movie.  In fact, they have already set down a specific release date for July 28, 2017. Director James Gunn will be coming back for the sequel as both the director and writer of the script as confirmed on his Twitter account but he urged people to first go and see the first installment. The news about a second movie is pleasing as Marvel movie franchises rarely disappoint even though the first one should be on the big screen in a few hours from now. However, you can already feel the energy that is coming from the movie. There are positive pre airing reviews everywhere about the film. Even Rotten Tomatoes has given the first movie, a 93 percent aggregate approval rating which is quite hard to come by.

The spoilers for the sequel of the Guardians to the Galaxy movie are not yet our of course, because one, the first movie is yet to be seen by majority of the global audience and two, the script is yet to be written by director James Gunn, so there is still a lot to change and the cast may be altered a bit, who knows. Josh Brolin is set to play the villain, Thanos in the Ultron installment of Avengers and this upcoming installment.

For those who are unfamiliar with the plot of the guardians to the galaxy, it revolves around comic books series which began in 1969. The context is a far away galaxy where the main character is Star Lord: Peter Quill who has quite a few issues brought about by a hard childhood. There were also good performances from stars, Djimon Hounsou and Zoe Saldana. Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel also chipped in with voiced animation roles.
