Kirk Franklin Celebrates a Winning Night at the Grammys
Chart-topping artist, songwriter, and producer Kirk Franklin (Fo Yo Soul/RCA) celebrated a winning night at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, as his #1 hit song "All Things" won the GRAMMY Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song. During the GRAMMYs Premiere Ceremony, Franklin also delivered a potent live performance with a high-octane medley comprising his hits "All Things," "Melodies from Heaven," and "I Smile."
Composed by Kirk Franklin, "All Things" marks his 20th GRAMMY Award win of his career, making him the most decorated GRAMMY-winner in gospel for his works as an artist, songwriter, and producer, both for his own songs and collaborations with others. It's his fourth consecutive GRAMMY Award after winning three at the 2023 GRAMMYs, for the Maverick City Music & Kirk Franklin joint live album, Kingdom Book One Deluxe (Tribl Records/Fo Yo Soul/RCA Inspiration) and two of its songs.
"All Things" is featured from Franklin's latest solo album Father's Day, which was released on October 6, 2023. The musical trailblazer garnered new milestones with this 10-track studio album. Father's Day marked his 14th #1 album on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart, setting a record as the artist with the most #1 albums on that chart. The single "All Things" also set a #1 record on Billboard's Gospel Airplay chart as his 10th #1 hit, tying as an artist with Tamela Mann for most #1 songs on that chart.
Next up, catch Kirk Franklin performing on The Super Bowl Soulful Celebration 25th Anniversary, which will air on Saturday, February 10th at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS, and stream on Paramount+.
