Taylor Swift New Album 2014: 18 Themed Hint Posted on Instagram Drives Fans Crazy Trying to Figure out Album Clue
There might just be a new Taylor swift album in the offing or is just the gossip columns working over time, you be the judge. Taylor Swift is apparently quite the tease as just yesterday she gave hints about her new album on Instagram. She posted an 18-themed video on her Instagram account giving the implication that she was gearing up to release a new album for 2014. She uploaded the video to her account with the message "So, here's your first clue..." The video shows her pushing an elevator reading 18 about six times. Of course the reaction elicited mixed reactions from all of her fans around the world.
It could mean a number of different things possibly that could mean that we will have a new Taylor Swift album within 18 days or on the 18th of August, September or December. The new album could have 18 songs or be a sequel to fifteen. As you can see, the speculations have not spared any amount of crazy or creative and the truth is that we will never know what she meant until she herself tells us or when the album comes out. As such, different magazines have placed there different bets on what they think it is that she meant by the clue that she posted. For example, Music Times states that the code she gave implies the date of release for the album and that she will release it on November 18th this year.
Well it seems that cryptic social media clues are the way to go nowadays if you want to share some hints about your 2014 releases. Not that it was a bad move, by the way. Taylor Swift does have 10 million Instagram followers and it is in fact very prudent to get them amped up for the next album release via social media in a way that will generate coverage and marketing without a lot of cost or effort.
