Carman preparing new record while battling cancer
Carman Domenic Licciardello, know simply as Carman, was diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer past February. Since then he battles the cancer and keeps his fans posted about his health and the upcoming new project.
On February 14, Carman shared with fans on his Facebook page, “One week ago I was diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer. It is incurable and I've been given a 3-4 year window of time. Tomorrow I go in for my first bone biopsy and the process will start.”
In the same post, Carman wrote, “My life has always been about ministry. I have a call of God to touch lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ and that's what I will do until the Lord calls me home. “
Since then, fans flooded Carman with messages of hope, scriptures to read, words of encouragements, which touched Carman.
Now, inspired by the overwhelming reaction from fans, he’s putting together a new album allowing his fans a lifetime chance to partner with him to make history with a new CD and music video project.
On his Kickstarter project page Carman shares, “I'm so excited about this incredible opportunity we all have through "Kickstarter" to make something happen as a team and a family. Through this fundraiser for a new CD and Video project, we can finally have something big we can interact on, on a personal level. 8 weeks ago I was diagnosed with incurable Multiple Myeloma Cancer and given a 3-5 year window of time. It seemed like a death sentence but through Kickstarter God have turned it into a life sentence.”
He continues, “As one fan said on Facebook "Look at what Jesus did in 3 years". So as for you and me, with this new project and us working together, the next 3 years are going to be a blast.”
