Jelly Roll Scores His First Christian No. 1 Song

Country music artist Jelly Roll lands his first No. 1 on the Christian Digital Song Sales chart this week. He joins Brooks & Dunn on their single "Believe," which opens atop Billboard's list of the bestselling tracks in the U.S. that the music magazine and chart operator classifies as Christian in nature and subject matter.
"Believe" marks Jelly's first No. 1 on the Christian Digital Song Sales ranking. The tune is actually his first to reach the religious list in any position, and the multi-genre musician scores his debut leader on his inaugural visit.
The original version of "Believe," which was recorded and released by Brooks and Dunn, made it to No. 5 on the Christian Digital Song Sales ranking back in 2010.
During the 58th Annual CMA Awards ceremony, Jelly Roll took the stage alongside legendary country duo Brooks & Dunn. Together, they performed a stirring rendition of the group's beloved 2005 hit, "Believe." With Kix Brooks on the keys and a gospel choir upstage, Jelly Roll took the mic for a striking first verse. Ronnie Dunn soon joined him in the emotional narrative song. The three of them put on a spine-tingling display, one that quickly got the crowd on their feet.
