New Film "Breaking into Beautiful" Tells the Story of Faith in One Woman's Fight Against Cancer

Angel Studios, the innovative platform that empowers creators to crowdfund, create, and distribute films and TV series globally, is announcing the release of the feature-length documentary, BREAKING INTO BEAUTIFUL.
The film is a Stiry Story documentary chronicling the life of Kim White, a young wife and mother known to the world on Instagram as @KimCanKickIt. Now a trend on TikTok, White is considered one of the first "illness influencers," amassing hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram by courageously sharing the beautiful and the messy of life throughout her ongoing battle with a rare cancer.
The film was White's vision and depicts her inspiring journey of resilience, faith, and love in the face of adversity. White collaborated with Dan Davis and his Utah-based documentary story house, Stiry Studios. Andy Fraser and Katie Politanoff and their A Really Good Home Pictures banner (UNSTOPPABLE) served as Executive Producers.
"Kim's story is a testament to the human spirit's ability to find beauty in the darkest of times," said Jordan Harmon, President of Angel Studios. "We are honored to bring this powerful documentary to audiences through our Angel Studios Platforms and continue her legacy of hope. The Guild members loved and approved Kim's journey for release, recognizing its deep impact and universal message of resilience"
BREAKING INTO BEAUTIFUL provides an intimate look into Kim's life, showcasing her unwavering strength and determination as she navigated the challenges of her illness. Through raw and emotional footage, the film highlights Kim's faith, her identity as a wife, mother, and daughter, and her profound impact on those around her.
"It was an honor to document her courageous battle," said Dan Davis, CEO of Stiry and the film's director. "Kim's vulnerability and authenticity resonated with hundreds of thousands of people because she let you into every detail of her cancer journey. No filter. As a result, her story is a reminder that even in the midst of suffering, there is always hope and beauty to be found."
"When Dan first showed me the light that Kim's life brought to the world, I knew that no home could better amplify that light than Angel Studios," said Executive Producer Andy Fraser.
"Kim's legacy is one of hope, strength, and resilience," said Treagan White, Kim's Widower. "She fought fiercely for her family and friends. She faced adversity with a smile and never gave up. Her story inspired so many people, and I hope it continues to inspire many more through this film."
BREAKING INTO BEAUTIFUL is a moving tribute to a remarkable woman whose story continues to inspire and uplift. The film is streaming now, exclusively on Angel.com and on the Angel app.
