Here Are Lyrics to The Belonging Co.'s “A New Eden” Feat. Lauren Sloat

The Belonging Co recently released "A New Eden" (feat. Lauren Sloat). The song is a beautiful new track from The Belonging Co's newest album, Eden.
Referring back to the Garden of Eden and expressing the desire for restoration and renewal, this lyrical song sweetly describes the intimacy found in relationship with our Father. An instrumental bridge leaves space for a new encounter with God, reinforcing the overarching theme of scripture-the restoration of God to his people.
Their upcoming album Eden, is due out February 28th.

VERSE 1
I want to walk with You I want to talk with You
In friendship in friendship
Be with You by Your side
Hear what's been on Your mind
I'll listen I'll listen
PRE-CHORUS
'Cause when it all started nothing was guarded
Let it be the same
CHORUS
Like it was in the garden in the cool of the day
From morning to evening me and You always
Where nothing is hidden no fear and no shame
Let it be a new Eden me and You always
Me and You always
VERSE 2
Nothing but fellowship I'll never get tired of this
Communion communion
Union in every step this is my daily bread
Your presence Your presence
TAG 1
Let it be a new Eden me and You always
Me and You always
BRIDGE
Just like in heaven let it be on earth
With You forever and ever
No other treasure could have more worth
Than You forever and ever (2X)
TAG 2
Just You forever and ever
