"The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" Opens at Museum of the Bible Today

Museum of the Bible announced on Tuesday that it is hosting the national premiere tour of 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,' a production by The Logos Theatre that is running from February 21 through April 19, 2025.
Featuring larger-than-life puppetry, professional actors and one of the most captivating theaters in Washington D.C., the production of the beloved C.S. Lewis classic is the largest in the U.S. to date. It tells the timeless story of four children and their journey into the magical world of Narnia where they meet the great lion Aslan and help break the reign of the evil White Witch.
"C.S. Lewis's stories are timeless in their message and characters, with deep symbolism about the powers of this world and the meaning of our existence. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is one that individuals at every age can enjoy," says Garrett Hinton, Chief Revenue Officer for Museum of the Bible. "We are honored to host this production at our stunning World Stage Theater so that everyone can experience this classic, right here in the Nation's capital."
Museum of the Bible's World Stage Theater in Washington, D.C., will host the production. The 8,000-square-foot immersive theater seats 476 people and has undergone extensive upgrades since it first opened in 2017.
The Logos Theatre, headquartered in Taylors, S.C., is a facet of The Academy of the Arts and features state-of-the-art productions with family-values entertainment. The Logos Theatre previously performed The Horse and His Boy, Prince Caspian, and The Pilgrim's Progress at the World Stage Theater.
Sponsored by Compassion International, 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe' is being presented at Museum of the Bible's World Stage Theater from February 21-April 19, with tickets ranging from $35-$85. For tickets, those interested may visit the event site.
The production will precede a special exhibit 'Personal Stories: C. S. Lewis and the Myth That Became Fact' at Museum of the Bible that opens on March 7, exploring the famous author's journey from atheism to faith.
