Davey is a singer-songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina, best known as the former vocalist and songwriter for the Christian rock band Attalus.Following the band's disbandment, Davey embarked on a solo career, releasing several albums that blend alternative, indie, and worship music.
In August 2024, Davey released "Kingdom Rising," a full-length concept album exploring the paradox of divine incarnation in everyday life. The album features tracks like "Love Is the Higher Law" and "Fingerprints," showcasing his thoughtful lyricism and unique baritone voice. The album received positive reviews, with Indie Vision Music describing it as having a "timeless quality" and effective lyricism.
In addition to his music career, Davey founded Fiction Forest Books, aiming to provide children with whimsical, beautifully illustrated books that teach valuable lessons about virtues like contentment and humility. A portion of the sales supports an organization in Uganda that aids orphaned children.
