Leanna Crawford's "Still Waters (Psalm 23)" climbs from #2 to #1 on Billboard's Christian Airplay Chart this week. Released on July 19, 2024, as the title track of her debut album Still Waters, the song resonated with audiences through its comforting message inspired by Psalm 23. The album itself reached No. 46 on the Billboard Top Current Album Sales chart.
"Still Waters (Psalm 23)" is a heartfelt tribute to Crawford's great aunt, Maurine, who memorized large portions of the Bible and inspired the song's message of finding peace through scripture. The lyrics encourage listeners to internalize Psalm 23 to combat anxiety and find solace.
