Christy Nockels Announces "King Who Never Sleeps," a Spirit-Led Invitation into Peace and Worship

Acclaimed worship leader and singer-songwriter Christy Nockels is set to release her highly anticipated new album, King Who Never Sleeps: Anthems for Rest, on June 6, 2025, across all digital platforms. The physical CD will follow with a release date of July 18, 2025.
Following the overwhelming success of her 2017 project Be Held: Lullabies for the Beloved, which has garnered over 120 million streams globally, Christy returns with a deeply personal and spiritually rich collection of songs. King Who Never Sleeps: Anthems for Rest features 14 new tracks written to guide listeners into a place of sacred rest, reminding them of the unwavering love and presence of a God who never slumbers.
"This album was born from my own journey of surrender," says Christy. "In seasons of weariness, I encountered the King who never sleeps - a constant, tender Shepherd. These songs are my offering of peace to others who need to be reminded that they are held, known, and loved."
Produced by her husband Nathan Nockels, the album combines Christy's signature warmth and lyrical depth with a lush, cinematic sound. Featured collaborations include worship artist Mitch Wong and Nathan Nockels himself, creating a rich sonic tapestry that complements the album's themes of divine rest and trust.
