Mass Effect 4 Release Date, News And Trailer Information: Mass Effect To Have A Different Storyline As New Characters Expected
We have the latest news for you on the release date, news and trailer information of Mass Effect 4. It is quite evident that Mass Effect 4 will not continue with the same story as before, that of Commander Shepard of ME3, as none of these companions will return to the new season except for the Krogans and the Humans. This has been based on the little that has been shown in the San Diego Comic-Con and E3 events this year.
Bioware explains that this is because the fans seem to be expecting the next season to go forward instead of acting as the prequel of ME3. It also remains unclear when the story is set to start and everyone is hoping that it is not very far. In the San Diego Comic-Con, it was hinted that in the new season, cooperative multiplayer would still be an option, and that Mako Buggy would be faster and sleeker.
It is said that the upcoming game is likely to share a lot in terms of the core features with Dragon Age: Inquisition. It is also said that Bioware will create ME3 using Frostbite engine, together with the other games that are in the line-up. The Associate producer, Mike Gamble, though it is not yet confirmed, hinted during the event that Mass effect save files can be used in the new installment.
The trailer showed at the E3 event suggested that this time round, the next-gen will be set in a different region of space, which is a relief to all those who were complaining about the ME3's universe. The studio director, Yannick Roy has posted in his twitter account that they are still in the middle of the development which is leading everyone to count the days and predict the release date. Roy further explained that the title Mass Effect 4 would mean "linearity, a straight evolution of the gameplay and story of the first three games." The design started during the late 2012, so they should finish the development around October 2015. We have not yet received the official release date which I guess is quite unclear as the Bioware Community manager, Chris Priestly himself does not have a clear idea on when the next game is being released.
