Hope Darst Teams Up with Josh Baldwin for Powerful New Version of “Mighty Name of Jesus”

Acclaimed worship leader and songwriter Hope Darst has released a brand-new rendition of her breakout worship anthem "Mighty Name of Jesus", this time featuring Josh Baldwin (Bethel Music). The collaborative single is available now on all streaming platforms.
Originally released in March as a live single, "Mighty Name of Jesus" quickly resonated with worship leaders and congregations around the world, climbing to No. 19 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart and making an impact across Christian Airplay and AC Airplay. The song later appeared on Darst's sophomore live album, In the Mighty Name, released April 18, 2025.
With the addition of Josh Baldwin's signature heartfelt vocals, the new version brings a fresh dynamic to the already powerful anthem, amplifying its message of hope, freedom, and victory found in Christ.
"This song has always been a declaration of the authority and healing found in Jesus' name," shares Darst. "Partnering with Josh has given it new life, and I can't wait for people to experience it in this way."
Baldwin adds:
"The moment Hope asked me to be part of this song, I knew it was something special. Singing about the mighty name of Jesus together feels like the church uniting its voice in faith."
The release follows a landmark season for Darst, who continues to emerge as one of the most impactful voices in modern worship. Her latest album, In the Mighty Name, has been celebrated for its raw, Spirit-led live recordings, capturing the heart of worship with tracks like "Never Walk Alone" and "Rejoice."
Darst will be bringing "Mighty Name of Jesus (feat. Josh Baldwin)" to stages this fall as she joins select dates on the Bethel Music Worship Nights Tour, further solidifying the song's place as a rising worship staple.
