Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll Nominated for CMA Award for "Hard Fought Hallelujah"

Five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Brandon Lake and country music star Jelly Roll have been nominated for a 2025 Country Music Association (CMA) Award in the category of Musical Event of the Year for their collaboration on the song "Hard Fought Hallelujah."
The nomination follows a series of significant milestones for the duo. Earlier this year, "Hard Fought Hallelujah" was awarded Song of the Year at the 2025 K-LOVE Fan Awards. The song also achieved platinum certification and was featured on Lake's latest album, King of Hearts, released just days after their performance at CMA Fest 2025.
The collaboration between Lake and Jelly Roll has resonated deeply with audiences, blending elements of contemporary Christian music with country influences. Their performance at CMA Fest 2025 was highlighted by a surprise drone show that illuminated the sky in the shape of a giant cross, creating a powerful and emotional moment for the audience.
Brandon Lake expressed his gratitude upon hearing the news of the nomination, stating, "So thankful to Jelly Roll for carrying this song with me. Thank you to the CMA for recognizing what's happening with this song and collaboration. And to God be all the glory!"
The winners of the 2025 CMA Awards will be announced during the live broadcast on November 17, 2025, from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
