“The Chosen” Season 5 Sets Guinness World Record for Most Translated Streaming Series Season

Come and See, the nonprofit foundation behind the hit series The Chosen, has announced that Season 5 has officially been recognized by Guinness World Records as the most translated season for a streaming series in history. The record was confirmed during the debut of Season 5 on the official The Chosen app, making the entire series-now five seasons-available for free to audiences worldwide.
This achievement underscores the show's global mission, with Season 5 now available in more languages than any previous season, opening access to viewers across diverse regions. The recognition highlights years of work by Come and See to ensure that no cultural or linguistic barrier prevents people from experiencing the story.
"We believe the message of The Chosen belongs to everyone, no matter their language or location. This Guinness recognition validates years of work to break through linguistic and cultural barriers," said a representative from Come and See.
Cast members have also spoken about the significance of reaching this milestone as the series advances toward its later seasons. "Filming Season 5 was a meaningful culmination of relationships built across the cast and crew. To see the work now reaching global audiences in hundreds of tongues-it's humbling and exhilarating," said Giavani Cairo, who portrays Thaddeus/Jude.
The Chosen is a multi-season television drama based on the life of Jesus and the people around him, supported by one of the most successful fan-funded production models in television history. Its global reach continues to expand through the dedicated translation and localization work of the Come and See Foundation, whose mission is to make the series freely accessible to people of every language and culture.
With Season 5 now live and translated on an unprecedented scale, the series continues to grow as a cultural and spiritual phenomenon. Audiences are invited to stream every season of The Chosen for free through the official app.
