Bri Babineaux Scores Third No. 1 Hit with “Confident” as New Music Arrives

Bri Babineaux has notched her third career No. 1 hit with the infectious urban contemporary groove "Confident" (Bri Babineaux Music / Tyscot), which soared to the top of both the Billboard Gospel Airplay and Mediabase Gospel charts this week. The uplifting anthem follows in the footsteps of her prior smash single, "I Will Wait," further cementing Babineaux's reputation as one of gospel's brightest and most versatile voices.
Both "Confident" and "I Will Wait" are featured on Babineaux's highly anticipated fourth album, slated for release in 2026. To keep her growing fanbase engaged until then, Bri is preparing to release a tender new acoustic ballad titled "All" later this year. The song showcases a more stripped-down, intimate side of her artistry, offering listeners a taste of the heartfelt worship that has become her signature.
Since bursting onto the gospel scene with her viral worship videos, Babineaux has built a remarkable career marked by chart-topping albums, sold-out concerts, and a dynamic presence that resonates with younger and older audiences alike. Her debut album Keys to My Heart (2016) and her follow-up The Encounter (2019) both drew critical acclaim, while her 2021 release The Encounter: Continues affirmed her staying power as a leading voice in contemporary gospel.
Beyond the charts, Bri has become a sought-after worship leader and recording artist whose music blends the raw passion of traditional gospel with the sleek rhythms of modern R&B and soul. Her transparent ministry and ability to connect deeply with audiences have made her a fixture not only in the gospel music community but also across broader Christian platforms.
With "Confident" at No. 1, a new ballad on the way, and a full-length project coming in 2026, Bri Babineaux is showing no signs of slowing down. Fans can look forward to more inspiring music that celebrates faith, resilience, and hope.
