Dallas Jenkins Expands "The Chosen" Universe with New Animated Series "The Chosen Adventures"

Dallas Jenkins, creator and director of the global phenomenon The Chosen, is launching a brand-new animated series titled The Chosen Adventures - a vibrant, faith-filled project that brings the story of Jesus to a new generation in an imaginative, family-friendly format.

Inspired by the beloved live-action series, The Chosen Adventures follows two young characters, Abby and Joshua, who live in Capernaum and encounter Jesus and His disciples. Through their eyes, viewers will experience the wonder of faith, friendship, and discovery as they learn timeless truths about God's love and the transforming power of Jesus' message.

"We wanted to create something that both kids and adults could love - something that feels fun, heartfelt, and real," says Jenkins. "Even though it's animated, we worked hard to make it authentic and emotionally grounded, while also capturing the sense of humor, imagination, and wonder that children bring to faith."

The series features an impressive voice cast, including Jonathan Roumie reprising his iconic role as the voice of Jesus, alongside Romy Fay as Abby, Paul Walter Hauser as Sheep, Elizabeth Tabish as Mary Magdalene, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Danny Nucci as Abba, and Jordin Sparks as Fish. Jenkins serves as executive producer for the project, which continues the mission of The Chosen to tell the story of Jesus in accessible and engaging ways for every generation.

Designed for children but layered with depth for adults, The Chosen Adventures blends humor, heart, and spiritual truth. The show aims to foster curiosity about Jesus while encouraging viewers to approach faith with the openness and wonder of a child.
