Great American Family, the home for timeless storytelling and uplifting entertainment, proudly presents Another Sweet Christmas, a new original holiday feature starring beloved fan favorites Candace Cameron Bure (A Christmas... Present, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries) and Cameron Mathison (A Merry Christmas Wish, General Hospital). Opening December 3 for a limited theatrical run, this festive romantic comedy captures the wonder of the season and the enduring magic of true love.
In Another Sweet Christmas, Sophie (Bure) and Sam (Mathison) are a happily married couple whose love story unexpectedly becomes the subject of a major Christmas movie production. When a film crew arrives in their picturesque hometown of Waynesbridge, Washington, the familiar streets are transformed into a storybook holiday set-complete with snow-covered trees, twinkling lights, and the sweet aroma of peppermint in the air.
As their personal love story plays out on camera, Sophie and Sam must navigate a whirlwind of attention, nostalgia, and small-town pride. But under the glare of the spotlight, the couple soon discovers that fame comes with unexpected challenges. When the line between real life and "reel life" begins to blur, Sophie and Sam must rediscover the heart of what brought them together-and prove that their love can outshine even the brightest marquee.
"Another Sweet Christmas is a story that reminds us what truly matters at the holidays-family, authenticity, and faith," says Candace Cameron Bure, who also serves as an executive producer. "It's filled with humor, romance, and that nostalgic Christmas feeling audiences love."
The film combines heartfelt storytelling with the cozy charm viewers have come to expect from Great American Family. Directed by David Winning, whose extensive holiday credits include Crown Prince of Christmas and The Most Colorful Time of the Year, the movie's screenplay is penned by Samantha Herman (Christmas CEO, The Wedding Veil).
Another Sweet Christmas continues Great American Family's tradition of producing family-friendly, faith-affirming content that celebrates love, hope, and community. The film is part of the network's beloved "Great American Christmas" slate-now recognized as one of television's most cherished seasonal events.
Audiences are encouraged to celebrate the joy of the season and experience Another Sweet Christmas on the big screen.
