Point of Grace Announces New Album "Lady Wisdom"

Published: Nov 03, 2025 12:11 AM EST

Beloved vocal group Point of Grace recently gathered at Curb Records on Nashville's legendary Music Row to host an intimate pre-listening event for their Circle of Friends attendees. The evening served as a heartfelt celebration and exclusive first listen of their forthcoming studio album, Lady Wisdom - their first full-length collection of new material in several years.

Guests were treated to a full start-to-finish playback of the project, interwoven with stories, laughter, and reflections from group members Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino. "We've lived with these songs for months, and they've truly shaped us," the trio shared. "They remind us that wisdom isn't about having all the answers - it's about trusting the One who does."

Drawing inspiration from Proverbs 8, Lady Wisdom personifies wisdom as a guiding voice - a companion who calls out to hearts searching for clarity, peace, and truth. Point of Grace sees this record as both a personal milestone and a message for the times.

"Over thirty years ago, we sang about grace, faith, and friendship," reflects Denise Jones. "Now we're singing about what those things look like after walking with God for decades. Lady Wisdom is the soundtrack of that growth - it's seasoned faith."

Produced in Nashville, the album balances classic Point of Grace harmonies with fresh, modern arrangements, bridging generations of listeners. From cinematic ballads to toe-tapping pop-inspired tracks, the project carries forward their legacy of crafting songs that speak to both the heart and the head.

Lady Wisdom was produced by Bernie Herms (Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Casting Crowns) and Ben Shive (Brandon Heath, Andrew Peterson), with additional production by Nathan Chapman. The album features songwriting collaborations with Francesca Battistelli, Matthew West, Nichole Nordeman, Ellie Holcomb, and Cindy Morgan, longtime friend and frequent creative partner of the group.

Musicians include Dan Needham (drums), Mark Hill (bass), Gordon Mote (keys), and Tom Bukovac (guitars). String arrangements were recorded at Ocean Way Studios, adding a lush cinematic texture that underscores the album's contemplative tone.

The debut single, slated for release January 9, introduces the heart of the record - the call to live wisely, walk humbly, and love deeply. Blending scripture-infused lyrics with Point of Grace's unmistakable vocal chemistry, the song serves as both invitation and reminder: "Wisdom's not hidden - she's calling your name."

The full-length album Lady Wisdom will be available March 27, 2025, across all digital platforms, streaming services, and select physical formats, including limited-edition vinyl and deluxe CD editions featuring devotional reflections and behind-the-scenes photos.

Since their debut in 1993, Point of Grace has earned multiple Dove Awards, two Grammy nominations, and 27 No. 1 singles, becoming one of the most successful all-female groups in Christian music history. Their songs - from "The Great Divide" to "How You Live (Turn Up the Music)" - have become anthems of encouragement for believers worldwide.

"We've always believed that music can teach as much as it can comfort," says Leigh Cappillino. "This album reminds us that wisdom doesn't come overnight - it's cultivated through worship, obedience, and grace."
