Acclaimed worship leader, author, and prophetic voice Roma Waterman has released her long-awaited new album, When God Sings - a deeply personal collection of songs born out of prayer, stillness, and years of waiting on the Lord.
Known for her ministry as a worship leader and teacher to creatives around the world, Waterman returns to her first love - songwriting - with a project that explores the question that inspired it all: "What does it sound like when God sings?"
"These songs were carved out in the secret place," Waterman shares. "For years, only my family and a few close friends had heard them. I felt God say to wait - that there would be a time for them to be sung over His people. This album is that time. It's a dialogue between heaven and earth."
Each track on When God Sings invites listeners into a sacred conversation - a journey of returning to wonder, trust, and intimacy with God. From its tender opening moments to its sweeping declarations of faith, the album captures the heart of a believer learning once again to listen for the divine melody already being sung over creation.
The album's visual storytelling is equally stirring. The official music video for "Like a Child," the first song released from the project, brings to life a vision Waterman saw of "a pilgrim running to the secret place." "When I saw my vision come alive on the screen, honestly, I cried," she says. "It felt like watching prayer take form."
