Worship collective CXMMXNS unveils The Commons Chapel: Where Two or Three Are Gathered, a new worship project created for the many churches gathered in smaller spaces yet marked by extraordinary faith. Out now, the release centers the sound of the Church itself-voices lifted together in sincerity, devotion, and hope.
The Commons Chapel is worship for the common congregation: faithful worship teams, devoted leaders, and communities offering praise with limited resources but abundant hearts. Drawing from both new and cherished CXMMXNS songs, the project strips arrangements back to their essence, creating space to hear what matters most-the church singing. With minimal instrumentation and a chapel-style atmosphere, the focus remains on congregational worship rather than production.
CXMMXNS was formed by Grammy-Award and Dove-Award-winning songwriters Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan, two of the most influential creative forces in modern worship. From their pens have come some of the most celebrated and widely sung anthems in the global church, including "Goodness of God," "Who You Say I Am," "What a Beautiful Name," "Cornerstone," and "Mighty to Save"-songs sung by tens of millions of Christ-followers every week across the world.
Focused on contributing meaningfully to the next chapter of the global church's modern worship canon, CXMMXNS is intentionally collaborative in vision and execution. Its debut offering, Chapter 1, established that commitment by platforming both fresh and familiar voices alongside some of the world's most respected gospel music writers, setting the foundation for a worship movement rooted in unity rather than personality.
Birthed in Sydney, Australia, CXMMXNS is passionately committed to gathering worshippers worldwide and serving local churches with songs everyone can sing. Grounded in Scripture and centered on Christ, the collective exists to unite believers around a shared confession-CHRIST-reminding the Church that bigger is not always better, that sometimes less is more, and that beauty and sincerity flourish not in an abundance of instruments, but in the offering of surrendered hearts.
"Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation" (Psalm 95:1).
Welcome to The Commons Chapel.
