Country and Christian music star Jelly Roll is expanding his creative reach beyond the music charts with a voice acting role in the upcoming animated sports comedy GOAT, slated to hit theaters on February 13, 2026.

Jelly Roll confirmed his involvement on social media on January 14, posting the character artwork and trailer for the film and calling it his "voice acting debut." In his caption, he also confirmed that his new song "I'm Good" will be featured on the movie's official soundtrack, with a clip of the track included in the trailer. "God is so, so good," he wrote in the post.

In GOAT, Jelly Roll voices a character named Grizz, marking his first role in an animated feature. The film is produced by NBA star Stephen Curry alongside a creative team from Sony Pictures Animation, featuring artists who worked on KPop Demon Hunters and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, as noted in the promotional materials shared online.

GOAT follows a young anthropomorphic goat named Will, who dreams of becoming a professional roarball player - a sport analogous to basketball in the animal world. The voice cast includes a number of notable entertainers, with Caleb McLaughlin, Gabrielle Union, Nick Kroll, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, and Jennifer Hudson also lending their voices to the project.

The film's score is composed by Kris Bowers, and GOAT is being released by Sony Pictures Releasing. Fans of Jelly Roll and animated family films alike can see the film when it opens widely in theaters on February 13, 2026.
