Christian rock veteran Michael Sweet, frontman of the legendary band Stryper, has announced his upcoming solo album The Master Plan, set to release on April 3, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.
The record represents one of Sweet's most personal musical statements to date - an honest and heartfelt reflection on trusting God's purpose in every circumstance. Alongside the announcement, Sweet released the album's title track, offering fans a glimpse into what he calls "the sound of surrender."
"This record was born from prayer, struggle, and the joy of walking with God through every season," Sweet shared. "It's about realizing that His plan is always greater than ours."
With decades of success as both Stryper's frontman and a solo artist, Sweet continues to craft music that bridges heavy rock with unwavering faith. The Master Plan blends anthemic guitars, cinematic arrangements, and introspective lyrics, underscoring his enduring message of hope and perseverance.
The album is now available for pre-order on major digital platforms. Fans can also stream the title track, which captures the spirit of renewal and divine direction that defines Sweet's latest chapter.
