Fast and Furious 7 Update: To be Released April Next Year
After the tragic and sudden demise of Paul Walker, the production of Universal Studio's biggest franchise of all time was temporarily put to a halt when the accident happened November of last year.
Shooting started back in September 2013 but producers had to think of a new direction for the movie with the absence of Paul Walker who portrays Brian O'Connor; as his co-stars and friends Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and more continue to struggle with the idea of Paul Walker being gone forever.
Director James Wan and writer Chris Morgan revealed earlier this year that they had decided to use some of Paul Walker's finished scenes, and with the help of Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody Walker as his stand-ins and CGI; they would still be able to put a better finish to his character. They also added that they didn't want to make it so sad for everyone and wanted to create something more uplifiting in the memory of Paul Walker and his iconic character.
With the recent developments; fans can still see their beloved Paul Walker in the film, as well as a different take on the movie as James Wan takes over Justin Lin as the director. James Wan is known for directing The Conjuring and Insidious.
There are more suprises in store as additional cast members include mixed martial artists Tony Jaa and Ronda Rousey, Golden Globe nominee Kurt Russell, rapper Iggy Azalea, Ali Fazal, Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou and Jason Statham as the new villain who was seen at the end credits of the previous film.
