Supernatural Season 10 release date is October 7, 2014, at its regular 9:00 PM Tuesday time slot at The CW network.
Although the Supernatural Season 10 episode guide is still not available, The CW has already uploaded the official Supernatural Season 10 Description. It says: "Season 10 begins with Sam's frantic search for his missing brother, who is gone without a trace. The road to recovering the wayward Dean takes Sam down dark paths, with consequences that will shake the boys to their core. Meanwhile, Castiel has to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Metatron's campaign. With his grace failing and rogue angels still on the loose, Cass will face the ticking clock of his own mortality as all-new threats emerge to once again push all of our heroes to their limits."
Supernatural Season 10 trailers can already be accessed at Youtube and other video hosting sites. Fans of the show who were at the San Diego Comic-Con were, in addition, treated by Jensen Ackles (aka Dean Winchester) to some advance clip screening of a scene in Supernatural Season 10 Episode 3 which he directed. The scene features himself as Demon Dean fighting and arguing with his brother Sam (played by Jared Padalecki). Asked by fans who was easier to direct - regular Dean or Demon Dean, Ackles answered, "In this particular episode, Demon Dean, because he was tied up most of the time." He also teased the fans that at the Supernatural Season 10 premiere, they will get to see Demon Dean doing karaoke.
During a panel discussion at the Television Critic Association summer press tour last month, executive producer Jeremy Carver already previously revealed that the series' milestone 200th episode will be "musical-ish" and will cover "just about every character - I'll say they will be represented - that you've ever loved or hated on the show, and I say that very obliquely on purpose. So they will be there in spirit," according to a report from TVLine.
When Supernatural Season 10 return to air, aside from Demon Dean, "we will be seeing some new characters...we'll be seeing demons and angels and ghosts and werewolves...[and] while Sam is on the hunt for his brother, there is another rather mysterious character who is on the same hunt and causes all kinds of complications for the boys, and there are a host of others that I can't really go into right now for fear of spoiling stuff," Carver told BuddyTV.
