We have the latest news for you one the release date, cast, plot, shooting and rumors of True Detective Season 2. Elizabeth Moss, the 'Mad Men' star has addressed the rumors that are linking her to the 'True Detective', a popular HBO series, in an interview she was engaged in.

In the interview, she said, "I can't even...it's....you know...not in the way everyone is talking about, honestly. I had to ask my own people, Have you not told me something?" to US today when she was asked about the rumors that were going round. She said that they were actually true that she would star in the upcoming season. She also said that for an actor who has been in the business for over 25 years, it would be flattering to be associated with the show.

Apart from Moss, other famous actors have been rumored to star in the next season of True Detective. Such actors include Gerard Butler, Brad Pitt, Collins Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Christian Bale. Elisabeth's co-star in 'The One I love', Mark Duplass said to USA Today that, "I'll just say that since people have started to see 'The One I Love', I've gotten lots of emails from (HBO) brass that I work with, and everyone of them is in love with Elisabeth Moss. So more rumors are going to fly." He said this when he was asked whether he knew that Elisabeth Moss was going to star in 'True Detective'.

Looking at the appearance of Elisabeth Moss in the season 2 of 'True Detective', it seems that True Detective is taking the direction of other TV series, where each season features a new story, new theme and even a new cast. It seems like the new season will; be super-exciting for its viewers. The release date of True Detective season 2 is yet to be announced though the fans are looking forward to the new season. It has been rumored though that it will be released in January 2015.

Nic Pizzolatto, the show creator, said that the script of the True Detective season two is halfway finished with it. He also revealed that the season 2 will have four main characters unlike the rumored three main actors. He also confirmed that the second season of True Detective would be shot in California.
