Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith: More Information on the Nikki's Mystery Wife Comes out as Mimi Takes to Social Media to Air Her Breakup
Recently, we learned that Nikko Smith married a Canadian woman named Margo in order for her to earn US citizenship. Apparently, they made a connection and were deeply in love before Nikki found out he could get on the reality, Love and Hip Hop by dating Mimi Faust. In his defense, there are reports that he proceeded to break up with his wife informally and move to Atlanta. As you know a lot of things have happened since then, including the raunchy tape that was eventually leaked to the public. Apparently, Nikki was the one responsible.
Mimi went on to explain that the scene was shot through Vivid Entertainment because the company needed more 'material' in order to make the tape more attractive to the public apparently, there were not enough scenes to make the sell. Allegedly, the initial tape was homemade. There is one aspect though, that the fans are having trouble coming to terms with and that is why the tape seemed so professional. There were a lot of angles shot as well as different editing features which suggests that there was a whole process including a crew and everything. Her friends seemed sated by the new information that Mimi gave but, Erica Dixon still wonders why she did not come forward in the first place.
The Faust and Smith story has taken precedence over majority of their storyline in terms of the current season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. The pace was set in the premiere episode when Nikki gave Mimi the news that the footage of their escapade on camera had been leaked after his bag was stolen when they were on vacation. It was at this point, that they decided to make money off the tape which would have hit the internet either way. After finding out that he intentionally leaked the tape and is still married to a mystery Canadian woman, Mimi stated she wants nothing to do with Nikki and would not believe another word that came out his mouth. When a fan asked her on August 4th, if she genuinely trusted her man, she replied that she is working on trusting herself first before she ever trusts another man.
