Samsung Galaxy Note 4 news:  Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date, Specs, and Other News

Korean brand Samsung has set the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date to September 4, in time for the IFA event in Berlin, Germany.

Designed with a 5.7-inch display, Samsung Galaxy Note 4's size is a cross between a phone and a tablet,  also known as a phablet. Earlier speculations suggest that it could possibly go as big as 6 inches. Standard and curved screen models will be made available. Similar to Samsung Galaxy S5, color options will be Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue, and Copper Gold.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs  will come with Samsung's S Pen stylus and will be powered by Android 4.5 operating system, also known as "Lollipop." Leaked information indicate that the device will reportedly be able to recognize handwriting, which can be used to unlock it or make calls.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. It's rated at 2.7GHz and has an Andreno 420 GPU.

This is considered as Qualcomm's Ultra HD processor as it is capable of supporting 4K resolution, image capture, and playback. With this feature, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 could be the first smartphone with a 4K screen.

Like Samsung Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 4 will be dust and water proof, features now considered standard in smartphones.

Reports also indicate that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will also have a UV sensor, which will alert users if they are getting to much exposure to harmful UV rays.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 price range has yet to be confirmed.
