J Heller is inviting fans into one of her most personal musical seasons yet. The beloved singer-songwriter has officially unveiled new promotional photos for her upcoming album, I Dream of You: HEARTACHE, giving listeners a glimpse into the project ahead of its November 6 release date.
But what has fans talking isn't just the new music-it's the touching story behind the photos themselves.
Keeping things simple and deeply personal, Heller revealed that the album images weren't captured in a fancy studio or by a celebrity photographer. Instead, they were taken by her husband, Dave Heller, inside their own home.
"New photos for a new album!" Heller shared on social media. "I can't wait for you to hear I Dream of You: HEARTACHE. I'll be releasing two singles per month until the record releases on November 6 of this year."
She added that the entire photoshoot was a family affair, explaining that Dave served as photographer while stylist Robin Geary helped bring the vision to life.
The announcement has generated excitement among longtime fans, many of whom have followed Heller's career for years because of her deeply honest songwriting and intimate approach to music.
The album's title alone hints at a project that may explore themes of grief, longing, healing, and hope-territory Heller has navigated masterfully throughout her career. While she has not yet revealed the full track list, she confirmed that listeners won't have to wait until November to hear new material.
Instead, Heller plans to release two new singles every month leading up to the album launch, giving fans a steady stream of music throughout the remainder of 2026.
