Rihanna will play Tip, a teenage girl, Jennifer Lopez as her mom, Jim Parsons as Oh, a Boov and Steve Martin as Captain Smek, the leader of the Boov race. The film is based on Adam Rex's children's book The True Meaning of Smekday released in 2007.
Home 2015 Plot begins when an alien race led by Captain Smek invades Earth to hide from their mortal enemy and thus making Earth as home. Convinced they are doing a favour, they begin to relocate the human race, but one resourceful girl, Tip, manages to avoid capture. When on the run, she is accompanied by a banished Boov, named Oh, who has accidentally notified the enemies of his whereabouts.
